Library Hours

  • Monday – Friday from 7:45-3:00 or later
  • Open before and after school for checkout and return.
  • Open during lunch with a student pass.
  • Open throughout the school day with a pass and a purpose.

Please memorize your 7-digit ID number!

  • You may check-out up to 3 library materials at a time for up to two weeks. 
  • Library materials may be renewed for another two weeks as long as there are no hold requests.
  • You may check out as many textbooks as required by your teachers. Textbooks are due whenever you finish the assignment. (e.g. Math textbooks are usually check-out for the whole year. Social Studies or Science textbooks are often checked-out for just a few days. Novels are usually checked out for a month.)
  • Equipment (Playaways, eReaders) require a permission form for check-out.
  • Parents/guardians may also request a book check-out account.


  • There are no fines for overdue materials.
  • There are fines for lost or damaged materials.
  • Fines must be taken care of in order to participate in extra curricular activities and/or to receive a yearbook on time. 
  • Students may either pay a fine or provide a replacement copy of the item.
  • Fines that have been paid will be refunded if the books/materials are returned, in good condition, no later than October 15th of the school year following the payment. No refunds will be issued if a student still has other outstanding library fines.

That means:
  • Be considerate of others who are working.
  • Use a quiet voice.
  • Keep and food or drinks sealed and stored in backpacks/bags.
  • Appropriate language only.
  • When others are waiting for computer workstations, limit your time online.
  • Show care when using all library resources, including games and makerspace materials.
