Daily Routine

Daily Organization and Bell work  – You are expected to enter quietly and be in your seat when the bell rings. Please have your assignment sheet and the previous day’s assignment open and ready for me to check and stamp. You are expected to work on bell work while I check and stamp. Bell work is to be completed on your bell work sheet and turned in at the end of the week.

Assignments/Homework – Following the lesson and guided examples you will typically work on an independent practice assignment. I will circulate and assist during this time. Assignments should be recorded on your assignment sheet and kept in the “Assignment” section of your binder; I will stamp it the following day based on the rubric on your assignment sheet. Assignment sheets are collected and graded at section or unit intervals. Sometimes we will work on tasks or projects, working in pairs or small groups.

Assignments must be completed in pencil and corrected in ink and all work must be shown. There will be time during corrections to ask questions.

Dismissal – Please remain seated when the bell rings; I will dismiss you when I see that all materials are returned.
