Which databases are available to KMS students?

North Kitsap School District Databases: One log-in gives you access to a variety of ProQuest databases.

Kitsap Regional Library (KRL) Databases: Once you choose a resource from KRL, you will need to enter the KMS library card number: 29068006856136

  • Watch a Gale Databases video demo.
  • Get your own KRL e-Card number so that you can save resources and searches on the Gale Databases.

What other reliable resources are available?

KMS ebooks: Our collection includes mostly non-fiction but also some classics. Many students can read the same book at one time.

Seattle Public Library: Get your own SPL library card for books, ebooks, and many more resources.

The Seattle Times: Curious about current events or local news?

Don't forget to cite your sources.

  • Most databases will give you citation information for your bibliography, reference page, or works cited page.
  • You may also use a citation maker (from OSLIS) to cite sources in MLA or APA formats. Ask your teacher which format to use.
