As the end of the school year approaches, it's time for 8th-grade students to start thinking about their transition to high school. Kingston High School is hosting several events to help students and families with this process.
On March 14th, the high school counselors will be giving presentations during the school day at Kingston Middle School for current 8th graders. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the high school registration process.
Additionally, on March 15th, the school is hosting an 8th Grade Family Night over Zoom from 5-6 pm. During this event, families will receive a brief presentation about transitioning to high school and specifically Kingston High School. Topics such as registration, graduation requirements, and opportunities available to students will be discussed. Attendees will also have access to a list of commonly asked questions with answers and can ask any additional questions they may have.
All Kingston High School students and families are welcome to attend the 8th Grade Family Night, but the event is geared specifically towards current 8th-grade students and their families. These events provide valuable information to help students feel prepared and confident as they begin their high school journey.
