Kitsap Regional Library and Seattle Public Library offer this unique and fun way to get personalized reading recommendations. Come armed with the names of a few books you've already enjoyed AND an email address. You'll get a response of what to read next. Be patient - it's not an instantaneous reply.

Michael L. Prinz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature
Any books called "Young Adult" or "YA" are meant for high school readers, but some can be appropriate for mature middle school students.

American Indian Youth Literature Awards
The AIYLA titles are broken down by Elementary, Middle and High School appropriateness.

We Need Diverse Books
This site directs students to books that highlight characters and topics that include a range of backgrounds and abilities.

The Center For Talented Youth (CTY) offers links to a wide range of book awards.  Many of these titles are high quality books, appropriate for a range of ages and reading levels.
